North Metro Muskies Inc. June Jam Tournament:
Each year the second weekend of June draws the best anglers in the region to the famous Muskie waters of Deer, Bone, Blake, Cedar, Round and Wapogasset Lakes and the Apple River Flowage in Polk County, Wisconsin. 175 Open-Division participants compete for fabulous prize packages from our sponsors and bragging rights until next June. Wilkins Resort on Bone Lake is Tournament Headquarters again!
The June Jam is a 100% catch and release muskie tournament hosted by the North Metro Chapter of Muskies, Inc., emphasizing sportsmanship and respect for the resource. There is no weigh-in or transport of fish and all fish are immediately released in their home waters after being witnessed and recorded for tournament points. The June Jam is a family event, with a special Pure Fishing prize package for the Junior Division winner.
Participants must follow Wisconsin DNR fishing and boating rules at all times.
