Open Division: First Place: Jeff Hansen caught a 44 (Deer) and a 42-1/2 (Bone) to capture the Sportsman's Warehouse first prize: Lowrance LMS 332 C color gps/sonar and prize packages from Abu/Garcia and Fig Rig.
Second Place: Chad Breisenmeister proved his muscle on the Apple River with a 46-1/2" monster and a 40" to capture the Dunwright Tackle Second Place Prize Package and a hand-held gps. Chad's 46 1/2 was the biggest fish of the tournament and also netted him an 8' Fig Rig Extreme Rod and a
spool of the new 80# Stren superline!
Third Place: Mike Jasinski rounded out the top three with 43" and 40.5" Deer Lake fish to take home the Zacho Sports Center third-place prize.
Juniors Division:
No fish were registered for points in the junior divsion, but 4-year old Rory Westerman went home with a big-fish trophy for releasing his first muskie: a 29-1/2" Bone Lake monster! The Pure Fishing Junior Division Champion was awarded to a junior who witnessed a fish for another tournament angler and received sportsmanship bonus points.
27 fish were registered and released in the tournament with 16 fish 40" or larger.
All top-finishers and the big-fish for the tournament received beautiful Phantom Lures trophies custom-painted for the tournament by Todd Cleveland of Phantom Lures.
Thanks to Professional Edge Custom Rods , the June Jam Participants raised $350 to be donated to the Wisconsin DNR for muskie stocking efforts.
